Enjoy some
classic Tuscan scenery of hilltop towns interspersed with swaying
fields of corn, sunflowers and red poppies. Set in a 9-acre forest
of pine, oak and olive trees, Le Pianacce is a steeply terraced
campsite with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant and
bar terrace enjoy a beautiful panorama over the narrow coastal plain
and the Tyrrhenian Sea, with stunning sunsets enhancing many
romantic meals. The bar terrace looks out over the children’s pool
complete with rocks and slide. The children’s play park is also
conveniently close by and not far from the square, where the evening
children’s entertainment is held. Our mobile homes and some of our
tents have beautiful views from the higher terraces. Our other tents
occupy various lower terraces. The beautiful hilltop town of
Castagneto
Carducci is just over a mile away and can be reached
on foot from the campsite. There are many walks and cycle routes
from which to enjoy the delightful Tuscan landscape; with the
important towns of Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano and Volterra, all
within an hour’s drive.
