Fayolan is a partly terraced site set in the beautiful and unspoilt
natural surroundings of the Jura – a region of rolling wooded hills,
lakes and quaint villages.
From the campsite you have direct access to the lake, which offers
excellent swimming and sunbathing on the sandy beach. Just along the
lakeshore is* a spectacular diving platform and a water sports
centre. There is a fantastic heated swimming pool complex complete
with slides, indoor pool and a sauna/steam room, making this an
excellent resort during low season. The high season evening
entertainment is popular with parents and children alike and
includes regular discos. There is also a good restaurant and cosy
bar. Our tents occupy the beautiful and spacious forest area of the
campsite whilst some of our mobile homes are located on the higher
terraces from which you can enjoy the beautiful natural panorama.
Much of the stunning local scenery can be explored by
bike or on foot and just over
a mile away is the small market
town of Clairvaux. Further afield is the walled city of Besançon or
why not hop over the border into Switzerland to visit Geneva.
