of Paris, on the banks of the river Ainse, La Croix du Vieux Pont is
a top-quality campsite with
plenty for everyone.
The campsite
restaurant is a converted farmhouse with the bar terrace overlooking
the superb swimming pool area. With heated pools (including one with
a retractable roof, slides, chute and jacuzzi, this resort is
perfect for holidays at any time during the season. There are many
other superb facilities at this spacious and well laid out campsite,
including 3 lakes for fishing (carp and trout), canoeing and
swimming. This is a large campsite in a beautiful parkland setting,
which is ideal for cycling. Some of our mobile homes are a 10-minute
walk from the main facilities. This campsite provides an excellent
base from which to explore the natural beauty of the Ainse region of
Picardy; whether you’re visiting nearby chateaux, World War One
battlefields, ruins, waterfalls, canoeing on the l’Oise, fishing or
walking through the forest
of Compiègne.
With weekly
excursions to Paris or Disneyland Resort Paris, the campsite is the
perfect destination for short breaks or longer summer holidays.
