Tuscany
is the cradle of Etruscan civilisation and the region has an

abundance of produce contributing to the distinctive Tuscan
cuisine. The epicentre of Florence (the birthplace of the
Renaissance) is complemented by other important historic
centres like Pisa, Volterra, Siena, Lucca, San Gimignano,
Arezzo and Perugia to name just a few. This is the heart of
Chianti country and a visit to a vineyard to stock up is
recommended. The beautiful islands of Elba and Grigio are
